Kabicotoa is a community based group in the Kakamega rain forest. Kabicotoa stands for Kakamega Biodiversity Conservation Tour Operators Association. The group was formed in 1996 it has thirteen members nine of them are male the rest female. The group engages in the following activities - conservation and protection of the forest,eco tourism thus tour guiding,research assistants in flora and fauna.
